Anniversary Release: Parte Di Me (Pre-Orcestral Version)

This anniversary release of “Parte Di Me (Hybrid Version)” marks a full-circle moment in my journey as a composer. The piece began as a fragile melody hummed into my phone on an ordinary walk - an instinctive expression of something intimate, raw and searching. Over the year it has grown, transformed and expanded, becoming one of the works closest to my heart. Revisiting it now through the pre-orchestral hybrid version feels like looking through a cinematic lens which feels both natural and necessary.

The decision to release a hybrid version came from my deepening love for electronic cinematic textures - those pulsing, atmospheric sounds that sit beneath emotion like an undercurrent. They bring an intensity that orchestral writing alone cannot always reach: a heartbeat, a tension, a sense of inevitability. The electronic world allows the piece to breathe differently, stretching its emotional borders while retaining the vulnerability of the original composition.

Working with Luigi Donzella on this version has been a gift. I say often - and truly - that I believe Luigi is the next Ennio Morricone. He has that rare ability to inject emotion into every note, to hear the soul of a piece before any sound design begins. Luigi doesn’t simply work on a piece; he translates feeling into sound. His gives Parte Di Me a new dimensionality - lush analogue pads, delicate distortions, subtle movements that intensify the emotional arc without ever overwhelming it.

This version is a meeting point between two worlds: the orchestral sounds of the original and the cinematic electronic landscape that surrounds it. It is both a tribute to where the piece began and an evolution toward where my music is heading.

Releasing it on this anniversary feels like honouring all the versions of myself that existed in between - the searching, the growing, the becoming.
